Give a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. As African Americans our ancestors payed the price of their lives for our right to receive information that was freely and rightly available to non African Americans. Today, as never before, in the age of technology the information highway, resources are more available to us than ever before. We have a responsibility to honor the legacy of those who paid the price for our right to be educated. How do we honor them? I think we honor them by taking full advantage of the information that is readily and freely available to us: resources.

What if the world ends with you? What if when you're gone everything that you're learning you take with you? Would the world be a better place because you were here? Or will the space that you occupied just become available real estate? Again, we have a responsibility. When we learn we teach. That is our responsibility. it is up to us to make sure that upcoming generations know at least what we know, and with our guidance a heck of a lot more. It is our job to encourage those that are on our heels to take full advantage of all the resources available to us. Today, we at Heritage Health understand that information becomes more valuable when it's shared. And we choose to share with you some of the resources that we feel can enlighten and inspire you to make healthy lifestyle choices that will unite the mind body and spirit. Our mission is to navigate empowering information to the community, especially the African American Community.
